Switzerland and Sweden
Switzerland has become an obsession. It started with a trip in 2005 to Ascona and Zurich, another one to Interlaken and Zurich in 2012, and culminated with my husband's sabbatical in 2015, where we used Zurich as a base to travel to some of our favorite sights. It gave me a the chance to see the country in winter, spring, and summer as well as break my leg skiing in St. Moritz. In 2018, we spent a week in Zurich and Interlaken for our 40th anniversary, sharing this wonderful country with our friends at the historic Geissbach Hotel on Lake Brienz.
We visited Sweden in 2001, spending time in Stockholm and Visby on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.
